{"id":420,"date":"2022-07-26T22:29:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-26T19:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/slglebanon.org\/?p=420"},"modified":"2022-07-26T23:13:41","modified_gmt":"2022-07-26T20:13:41","slug":"fund-raising-brunch-%d9%84%d9%80%d8%b7%d8%a7%d9%88%d9%84%d8%a9-%d8%ad%d9%88%d8%a7%d8%b1-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%85%d8%ac%d8%aa%d9%85%d8%b9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%85%d8%af%d9%86%d9%8a-%d8%a8%d9%87%d8%af%d9%81","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/slglebanon.org\/?p=420","title":{"rendered":"Fund Raising Brunch for the \u201cCivil Society Dialogue Table\u201d to keep the port bombing issue alive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Civil Society Fund Raising Brunch held a discussion table at Prince Faisal Arslan Museum &#8211; Aley, entitled \u201cWe want the truth every moment and every minute\u201d, with the aim of keeping the issue of the port bombing alive and not forgotten, and in order to support the families of the port bombing victims among the public sector employees.<br \/>\nThe event was very successful in terms of attendance and organization, in addition to the distinction of \u201ccivility by local\u201d character, as attendance was limited to comrades and friends who Incidentally, they saw a patriotic duty.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-423\" src=\"https:\/\/slglebanon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FUND-RAISING-BRUNCH-PORT-MARTYRS-JULY-22-1-1-300x169.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/slglebanon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FUND-RAISING-BRUNCH-PORT-MARTYRS-JULY-22-1-1-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/slglebanon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FUND-RAISING-BRUNCH-PORT-MARTYRS-JULY-22-1-1-768x432.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/slglebanon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FUND-RAISING-BRUNCH-PORT-MARTYRS-JULY-22-1-1-390x220.jpeg 390w, https:\/\/slglebanon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FUND-RAISING-BRUNCH-PORT-MARTYRS-JULY-22-1-1.jpeg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><br \/>\nArslan<br \/>\nThe coordinator of the Civil Society Dialogue, Hayat Arslan, gave a speech in which the following was stated:<br \/>\nWe want the truth every moment and every minute<\/p>\n<p>We will not be silent about the crime of the age<\/p>\n<p>We will not back down<\/p>\n<p>We will not tolerate in insisting that all my secrets be revealed<\/p>\n<p>We will not go along with the cause of the destruction of Lebanon<\/p>\n<p>Yes, the bombing of the port is the destruction of Lebanon<\/p>\n<p>It is a distortion of Lebanon&#8217;s image by exposing its intrusive institutions<br \/>\nIt is an endorsement of the decision slipping from the hands of the state to the furnace of the state and the embrace of Hell<br \/>\nIt is a witness to the evasion of regulations, laws and legislation<br \/>\nStopping the investigation, intimidating the judiciary and obstructing its role is the dismantling of the state system in favor of the organized statelet.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>No to the downfall of the state-planned and commercial system, whether out of interests, or out of cowardice, or out of submission, on the basis of what comes out of hand.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, come by hand, and come out by hand, as long as we are a living people who breathe the air of Lebanon and paint the image of a responsible government that oversees the election of a loyal Lebanese President, who does not come on the basis of international bargaining, but rather on the basis of wisdom and know-how with a solid and bold personality.<\/p>\n<p>Our meeting today is one of the means of keeping the issue of the port bombing alive in the minds, hearts and consciences, sitting before the eyes of the Lebanese public opinion, disturbing the system\u2019s sleep and mimicking the international organizations and shouting out loud, \u201cComplete the investigation, so that we reach the truth, justice and accountability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Here we address the State of Greater Lebanon, which is smaller in the system, to say:<\/p>\n<p>Be great by reclaiming the position and the role<\/p>\n<p>Be big with law and institutions<\/p>\n<p>Be great by preserving the dignity of the Lebanese<\/p>\n<p>Be great with justice and justice<\/p>\n<p>The martyrs of Lebanon are your pillars and their souls are your balance<\/p>\n<p>As for the martyrs of the port bombing, they are the witness to infidelity, injustice and cynicism. They are subjected to the application of laws that human karma is ashamed of. For example, imagine that a martyr whose family does not receive compensation on the pretext of not completing his years of service, forgetting that he was martyred in the place of his service and not on a recreational trip.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine the family of a martyr suffering from the degrading living conditions of the oppressed Lebanese people, who are struggling to survive.<\/p>\n<p>We will not stand idly by and idly watch the actors involved.<\/p>\n<p>Let the \u201cCivil Society Dialogue Table\u201d initiative today be a role model.
